Detailed Review
The cross itself is 14 inches tall, 10 inch wide and about 3 inches deep. There is also a smaller version that is
10 by 6 by 3. The eternal light cross is design with a 2 by 2.5 inch solar cell which collects sun-light during the day to
recharge the 2 batteries housed on the back side on the cross. As day turns to night the solar cell stops collecting
energy from the sun and the batteries kick on, sending 2.4 volts of power to the 4 hi-intensity, bright white LEDs,
making the cross glow beautifully. The charge in the batteries last for about 4 to 7 hours depending upon the amount
of sun-light the solar cell collected during the day.
The sun powered solar cross
comes complete with the cross, 2 rechargeable batteries and a ground stake.
The cross is typically staked into the ground in front of a gravestone, but can be mounted in a variety
of ways: from being mounted on top of a headstone with a special headstone saddle to staked right into
a large vase arrangement.
The cross has a sister product, the Eternal Light Angel.
The specs on the Angel are similar to the cross. In short it is a great product that works, while adding a new twist to an old memorial tradition.
