Arrgh - The Move. |
|
As
some of you may know, the founders recently regained control of the company and moved it to a new location.
The move and logistics took longer than expected, but now we are up and running again and you can expect continued customer service
improvements. We are currenly building our stock for Memorial Day and items are adding new items every day. If you cannot find
something specific please let us know.

Coming Soon... |
|
There
was a plan last year to build a user community around the Memorials Silks website, but that project never came to fruition.
However, we are considering this project again and would love to hear any feedback from you. Our idea is to create a new section
on the website that woudl feature a web community with a Blog and a Customer Forum. We are also considering a memorial
section to allow our customers to create and post permanent online memorials of their loved ones. Customers who offer
feedback on this idea will be emailed a discount coupon.
Please use our feedback page.

Those Dreded Stakes |
Most of our
memorial solar items, like the Eternal Light Cross and the Eternal Light Angel come with plastic ground stakes. These stake break quite often
for many reasons: lawn mowers, vandals and just pushing them in to frozen earth. We get a lot of orders for replacement stakes. One recent
evening while discussing this topic with a customer we thought of building a stronger stake. So I have placed a call to my metal shop that
makes the stainless steel monument mounts and they are working on a design that will be strong and cost efficent; no promises, but we will
let you know the out come.

To Infinity and Beyond... |
 |
|
I thought
quoting one of my favorite animated movies would be a good intro to this customer service story. A young army women called us one Thursday a
few weeks ago who lost a very young loved one. She ordered a solar lighted angel, but it arrived cracked as a result of damage during shipping.
We agreed to send out a replacement next day shipping, so see could place the angel at the grave site before her leave on Sunday.
